Instructor: Christine Peterson, Managing Editor, Capstone Press Are you an educator? Someone with particular expertise on a topic? A writer who loves to research and share findings? This workshop will “demystify” the process of submitting work to educational publishers and how best to get your foot in the door. You will see examples of successful submissions packages (résumé, cover letter and writing samples) and learn what kind of writing samples your packet should include. OPTIONAL: Bring along a sample cover letter for a chance at feedback (2 copies – one for you, one for the reviewer.)
